We are #1!!!!
We finished in first place for the first round of Myon reading.
To celebrate, we are kicking off the next round with a "read all day" today. I will be using this time to catch some students up on missing or incomplete work as well as re-mediating with students .
This week we will continue our rocks and minerals studies. We will have a quiz on Friday and most likely the test next week on Wednesday. Please check out the resources on the science page.
3rd Grade Math:
We will be examining area and perimeter relationships this week. I am hoping to give a quiz this week. The test date will be determined by the end of the week, depending on how well students are grasping the material. Please check out resources on the 3rd grade math page.
4th grade math:
Our next unit will be on "decimal fractions." This essentially means fractions with denominators of 10 or 100, and learning how to write these as decimals. We will be using place value charts often during this unit. I will be posting resources for this as the week progresses. I will be beginning with students on Wednesday.
have a wonderful week,
